United African Artists (UAA)
- Who We Are.
HISTORY
and MOTIVATION
The
United African Artists (UAA) is a not-for-profit Organization set up to promote the growth, unity, and
sustenance of African Artists around the world by providing exposure and support services to such artists. To achieve this goal, UAA
provides membership to all African Artists through its Artist Support Group membership.
In this regard, the term "artists" include actors, writers,
directors, singers, dancers, performers., poets, instrumentalists, etc.
Having
been (and still being) consulted on several occasions by aspiring African
Artists for help or assistance towards attaining their goals
in the entertainment world, and the uplifting of African culture, we have continued to generously provide all
the assistance we could muster for such artists. However, as the demand
continues to multiply, we are compelled to formally set up the
entity known as United African Artists, the umbrella under which we have
offered support and services to many Artists in the past several years.
United African Artists Incorporated is therefore a means to continue in the pursuit
of promoting and supporting African Artists even as the
demand continues to increase.
UAA
is dedicated to achieving growth, unity, and sustenance of African Artists
while developing the African artistic and cultural heritage whether at
home or abroad. We apply our time, effort, and experience in organizing, promoting, and
supporting ventures geared towards helping African Artists in presenting
their artistry to the world while promoting African cultural heritage.
Membership of the
UAA Artist Support Group is open to African Artists wherever situate. UAA has
its headquarters in the United States of
America.

OUR MISSION
Our Mission
The greatest gift a father can bequeath
his son is the gift of legacy-and the most cherished honor a son can
bestow upon his father is the pride of upholding his heritage. As the
world gradually merges into one global community, it seems rather
obvious that the cultures of different peoples of the world have either
been corrupt or conspicuously adulterated. More often than usual, laudable
norms and values have been shadowed by what seems acceptable by the
majority or the few at the echelon of a hierarchy.
As Africans, in love and involved with Arts and entertainment, the pioneers of
the United African Artists are concerned for Africans as a people, that one day there
might be
no trace of where we come from, what roads we have walked and where we are
are going. We have watched with pain our artists suffer in penury. We have
observed our talents waste - the moment they set their foot abroad.
Our aim is to harness our unlimited resources to build a virile and
formidable force. To provide exposure, support, and encouragement to all
those involved as Artists or otherwise in the sustenance and promotion of
African culture and its artistic heritage. Join today.
